"In Remembrance" is a very special service-concert for all who would like to gather in remembrance and celebration of loved ones who have passed away. With the approaching holidays, a time of joy and celebration for most, it's important that we make time to commemorate our loved ones and to gather in support of those who find the holidays difficult to enjoy. In 2017, we established the first Sunday after All Saints Day (Nov. 1) as an annual opportunity to gather "In Remembrance" in our region. This concert offers an ecumenical opportunity to honor those we've loved and lost.
Working with Music with a Mission to provide a beautiful service-concert acknowledging our grief and lifting us up is our service partner, Big Bend Hospice. This non-profit organization has, for more than 30 years, provided a distinctive, profound service to the residents of eight counties in the Big Bend region. We pray you will attend in support of Big Bend Hospice, as they continue to support each and all of us every step of the way.
Singers: Music with a Mission choirs are open to all singers. It's a wonderful, uplifting experience to sing with our peers from across the community; we come together to lift others and find ourselves lifted up in the process! To learn more, please contact Dr. Linda Lovins, Artistic Director, at Linda@MusicWaMission.org. To reserve music and a place in the November 2019 Music with a Mission choir, please complete the Singer Registration Form. Again, all are welcome!
